Smart Radar-Based Screen Dimming Enhances User Experience for EV Chargers

Content:
As electric vehicle charging infrastructure continues to evolve, user experience has become just as important as charging performance. To further improve comfort and energy efficiency, our latest EV charging solutions introduce a smart radar-based screen and lighting control feature.

In many charging environments, chargers remain idle for extended periods. Traditional charging stations often keep their indicator lights and screens at full brightness even when not in use. This can cause unnecessary light pollution at night and negatively affect the surrounding environment and user experience.

Our EV chargers solve this issue with an integrated radar detection system. When the charger is in standby mode and no user is detected nearby, the system automatically reduces the brightness of the display and indicator lights, creating a more comfortable and energy-efficient environment. Once a user approaches the charger, the radar sensor instantly detects movement and restores normal brightness, ensuring the interface is clearly visible when needed.

In addition to automatic radar control, users can also manually manage lighting through the mobile app. Operators or site owners can turn off the screen and indicator lights remotely via the app, providing flexible control for different installation environments such as residential areas, parking garages, or commercial charging stations.

This intelligent lighting management feature offers several key benefits:

  • Improved User Experience – Reduced glare and light disturbance during idle periods

  • Smart Radar Detection – Automatic brightness adjustment when users approach

  • Remote App Control – Manually switch off screen and lights via mobile app

  • Energy Saving – Lower power consumption when the charger is not in use

By integrating radar sensing technology with intelligent system control, our EV chargers provide a smarter, more user-friendly charging experience while maintaining the high reliability and performance expected from modern charging infrastructure. If you have any question, please contact our team.
